How old is that video?
Little Shop of Horrors is circa '86. It is a must see - even if you aren't a musical person it is a great movie.
It was 1986, and the movie wasn't a remake. It was a campy B-movie made by Frank Oz. (A Muppet man. Fozzie. Gonzo.) The music is by Howard Ashman, who gave us "The Little Mermaid." (One of my favorite things to do when I do that show is mess with Audrey by switching back and forth between "Somewhere that's Green" and "Part of Your World." They're pretty much the same song!)
Here's the kicker, Savvy--the movie came first. It was one of the first cases of a musical coming from a movie.
Looks like a grayt show. Kristen Chinoweth is a funny woman. Wish I got that channel...

Ummm http://imdb.com/title/tt0054033/ The orginal was released in 1960.
Ellen Greene as Audrey (I) is the only member of the Off-Broadway cast to appear in this film. (Source http://imdb.com/title/tt0091419/trivia) Other than that I'm not 100% sure about the order, but I always thought it was getting a buzz as a show an became a movie, again. Can't remember what I heard that makes me think that, I could just be assuming it.
But that would still make you right.I think it was a movie, and play, and then a movie. So it was a movie first!?

Well, knock me down and call me stupid! That's what I get for acting like I know everything...
