OMG! And the worst part is that you missed all that great sleep you could of had on the percocet plan. When I had my knee surgery, I sent hubby, child and pets to others for Thanksgiving. I sat on the sofa with my knee icing maching, a bottle of percocet and a phone. Best MACY"S PARADE I've ever seen. Also, had fabulous phone conversations with my friends. Don't know what we talked about, but it was the BEST THANKSGIVING EVER!!!!!!
Good morning, Vacation Land Dreamers and Trekkers. I enjoyed reading this cool thread again this morning. I think we need to get some rockers lined up and just relax one evening here in SoWal and discuss everyone's excellent summer adventures. Rest well, Miss Kitty. This confirmation of a break should give you more time to SoWal. 
When on a conference call, hubby's favorite trick to shock the heck out of me is to start yelling at the people on the other end, "Well, you are just a stupid m----- f----- and a total a--h---!" Then he tells me he has the phone on mute.:funn:
Miss K, tell him you take precedence over the ccs. Or maybe not ... after all, they pay the bills.
I bought some new shoes this week! First, I bought the blue Keens (on sale!) for walking and kayaking in Maine. Then, I spotted these ALegria's on sale at the neighborhood shoe emporium. My last purchase, today, had to do with the bench and dog attack in WC in May.....

FTLOC...the puss is in das boot! I kept thinking it was a bad sprain and that the swelling and pain would go away. Two months later, I finally saw an ortho PA and had extensive xrays, they slapped das boot on me and I return for an MRI tomorrow. Oh, joy...we leave for Maine on Friday! :roll: Guess, I'll sit around in the crisp air, enjoy the view and eat my fill of lobster!

Maybe a bedazzaler would help that hot boot.
This is one kick a$$ boot...my toes are safe from attack! I kicked the MRI scheduler's metal desk when I stood up and I thought she was going to duck and cover! We both fell over laughing!

Note--das boot is too big for das MINI Cooper gas pedal. Pain in the arse--I have to take it off to drive.
Update (for those of you that are not sick and tired of hearing about this
MRI cancelled! Machine was down!But, the boot must be working because I feel no pain, now.
Did you bedazzle or get the rollerskate version? If so, I want to borrow it. My boot is just plain.
Ya will get used to it...I can drive with das boot like a race car driver now.
