oh no, MK. what is the result of the foot problem?
regarding the shoes, I did a whole thread on those alegrias - since they are totally weird, but pretty comfy with a slight rocking motion. believe me, I know what it is to buy all kinds of ugly shoes in search of foot/ankle relief! my favorites: Dansko. I also have the MBT rocking shoes and they come in very handy sometimes. I guess the very best is New Balance walking shoes - and with an added arch support.
