Well, an hour has passed and the nice weather is back. Currently, 46F degrees, with the temp rising, no wind, and the sunshine makes it feel like 60F degrees.

I only wish it was that easy here. We'll need a few weeks to pass before it shows up here. Enjoy it for those of us who are still shivering (and why am I heading north this weekend?!).

Hey, Gypsea, I guess that means you were a pretty nice kid.:D

BR, no better, no worse. Just not a follower, unless it was something or someone that I wanted to follow ;-). At my girls high school in the 70's, I also made the very uncool choice of taking a Naval Academy midshipman to my senior prom (you know ~ uniform, no hair, no car). Ever since, it has been one funn, exciting, adventurous life. Soooo being abnormal and making way unool decisions do me well! :D I'm sure that if you would ask Cap'n Crazy today, he would say that my following skills have NOT improved!!!

It didn't hit me just how ridonkulous gas prices have gotten until I was filling up the car, looked at the sign and had a total deja vu moment - except that gas was $2 more a gallon!

Same car, same grade of gas..................$2 more!

finally met swgb tonight at sally's backside:clap:... what a trip that place is, especially with Redd singing "crazy" as she serves drinks, with an absolutely gorgeous voice. loved every second of it. only in SoWal... :lol:I mean a bunch of us girls went to Sally's Backside, okay? it's a lounge behind the gas station.:rotfl: and its fabulous! I shouldn't even talk about it here, don't know if they like non-locals... but they have had some press coverage lately and have had people coming from all around, according to Sally.

I hear ya, Gypsea. You go, girl!

On another subject, I have an unbelievable story. One of my daughter's male friends (she didn't reveal his name) who graduated from Georgia Tech several years ago and has a successful career called her and asked if he could come by to talk to her. He said he'd meet her in the lobby. When she arrived in the lobby, she heard her name being called, but she couldn't find him. All she saw was a female. IT WAS HIM. :yikes:He told her that he is a cross-dresser, but that she was the only one of his friends he'd told. He asked for her advice because he is getting married in a month and wanted to know if he should tell his fianc?. BTW he's been with men. She told him that the only ethical thing to do is to tell her. Obviously, that will jeopardize the wedding, but it is the right thing to do for many reasons. A lot of people will be hurt, I'm afraid.:sosad:

After she got over the shock, in her characteristic sense of humor she said, "Actually, he looked pretty good as a woman, but he could use some makeup application tips."

Try being told that about yourself, by a gay male friend...."We need to even out those skin tones..." :dunno:

I notice that the personal lubricants and condoms are located on the isle with all the baby stuff in the grocery stores. I can understand why parents of babies would want to be reminded of the condoms. However, it seems to me that better placement would be right next to the beer isle and another selection of condoms in the Wine section.

At our K-Roger, they keep the condoms locked up, next to the nicotine patches. :dunno:
