What a happy day!

Ordered the wedding dress! Had to be custom-made because Beach Jacket is 6'3". The dress is awesome. It is so "her" - funky and fun with lots of movement and an artsy style. No details because fianc? is a lurker. He'll have to wait until June 19th for details.

Such a beautiful day in Atlanta, too! We adore our daughter. So does everyone else who has ever met her. She has such an ebullient personality!

Gosh, I know you must be excited about having both of them at the beach with you on Thanksgiving. Are you cooking?

Now that our baby is engaged, she can't join us at the beach. We do Thanksgiving on Thursday with them, then Big D and I come to the beach. They do a German Thanksgiving (really interesting menu) on Friday with his family in Alpharetta.

We have season tickets for GT football, and this year the game is at GT!!!!! Our seats are in the club level right behind the enemy bench so we can razz the Dawg team members during the game (actually the kid in front of us takes care of that -- he is flipping hilarious). Can't miss that game! So we won't be at the beach very long.
