Woo-hoo! Yard is now dead possum free thanks to the Sowalgayboi Varmint Removal Service! Worth every penny as I almost puked during the process and wasn't within 20' of the thing!

P.S. Scooterbug, I would go near that trash can. Hopefully the holiday on Monday won't interfere with garbage service or that things gonna be pretty rancid by Thursday.

I know - that was why I had you put it in the cardboard box before the trash can. That and the fact that they rarely get all the trash in the truck and I just can't deal with looking at that thing anymore. :roll:

Why do I keep seeing people in the employment threads giving their contact info to potential employers and asking them to call the potential employee?

Isn't it part of the job hunt to 'apply', as in, you go to them?

I think it's kind of rude to assume that someone who's probably got hundreds of applicants is going to call you just because you put your phone number on their internet thread.

I don't think it's rude, but it sure won't get them the job!

I think the same thing when someone posts a job w/ a number to call and then someone replies to the thread asking if it's still available. Doesn't make you seem like a "go-getter" or proactive person.
