Pucking jellies - ankle, calf, side, hand, forearm - making me CRAZY w/ the welts and blisters!!!

OMC...danger was lurking in that beautiful water!!!!! Sounds like you beat the jelly up! :yikes:

Nope, and noone else had a problem that we know of. :dunno:

Luckily I was drunk and had my medicine for yellow flies to take the edge off - SWGB thinks I am allergic or something - the welts made them realize I wasn't just being a whiner.

Just a little vinegar or lemon juice will nicely take care of that too Scooterbug! Though it sounds like your lemon juice might have been applied orally...with some gin! lol Don't you love it when fate singles you out for some 'special' treatment? ;)

I was walking Grayton Beach towards Blue Mtn on Weds & Thurs afternoon and noticed some clusters of very small ones in some sections. Guess you crossed into gang territory. Sorry to hear it. I hope you gave them your gang 'sign'!

I think they were invisible - I even had my goggles on to fully enjoy the fabulously clear water - found a live sand dollar and was loving the wavy sand w/ the turquoise water above, but didn't see ANYTHING else.

Saw something blue in the water later, but it was a %^$(#(#%* popsicle wrapper, not a jelly.

Try rubbing alcohol - it, too, has many uses. If you were drunk, you probably won that battle as they probably swam silly after that.

Sorry you got attacked by the jellies - I've been there and it's no fun. Luckily, I don't have serious reactions.
