Depends...do they want a "down and dirty" type raw bar with a local feel or do they feel more comfortable in a corporate type place that is a little "nicer"..cause there are both types in the area that I would recommend...nothing will ever top the late great Sand Flea on Okaloosa Island though

If you are in Panama City, hit Hunt's, or Gene's. The best in the business along the Gulf Coast.
Not sure where you are staying but depending where you are at I would go to Hunt's in Panama City or Hightide on Okaloosa Island....Hightide is tough to beat if you like Oysters and Gumbo in a place that has been around forever
Some of them rye grass squeezin's at For the Health of It will set them straight.
Goatfeathers is not bad, either but it seems to depend on who is doing the shucking. The price is right at both places and the oysters have been good lately. $4.99 a doz. all day until 6 at Goarfeathers and $4.99 a doz. from 4 to 6 at Hurricane bar.
Senor Mojitos had fabulous oysters at $5/dozen when we were there in February.
