...but hasn't Noriega been in jail since the late 1980's? Hell, South Walton was barely an infant back then, and Destin was just learning to crawl.

Speaking of Noriega, is he out of prison yet? I think he was supposed to be released sometime this fall, then shipped to France to serve more time.

One other note, Bob, I think it was the good ole US of A who gave Noreiga that sword. The same US of A who later stormed into Panama and threw his booty in prison.

heck yes we did,and we borrowed the whole country from Columbia, land of Narco-subs. Maybe when we leave Iraq, say 2085, we can go down there and rescue those folks again from themselves. Perhaps we could drop a few hundred MOABs and create a lower maintenance canal.

PoliTRICKS are interesting, aren't they? We (USA) always seem to be giving millions of dollars to create rulers, who end up being "corrupt" (I wonder who is really corrupt), then, call them the enemy and hunt them down like fox on the run. Now I'm confused, were we talking about Osama Bin Laden or self-appointed General Noriega?

If you or you ex-employer were drowning in a sea of U.S. Federal, no bid, contract dollars, it would be a high better than reading about your 8 for 1 Google split, while indulging in pharmaceutical grade cocaine as an aftercourse of dinner and romantic relations with Eva Longoria. Ask Manuel, Musharraf, Dick Cheney,or the ghost of Saddam. The U.S. is good folks to know. Just follow our instructions very carefully.

Sorry, forgot I was in the real estate thread. Back to Panama City, Panama "the Country," real estate.

So if we deposit our money into banks or real estate in Panama, the Country, any profits made cannot be taxed by the US Gov't unless the money is brought back to the US, correct? I hear the international banking business down there is second only to Switzerland.
