She would have been better off going natural.. I hear C-sections are no walk in the park (can't even pick up the baby?... is this true?) Hey Brit... ever hear the word Epidural?

Speaking of epidurals, they gave my wife one when she reaced 4 cm and it didn't work. The anesthesiologist sp? guy came and pulled it out and tried it a second time and that one didn't work either. He came back a 3rd time and tried it again (there are now 3 holes in her back) and that one didn't work until she was at 9 cm.

I hear they're great when they work, but they can be a real b*tch if they don't.

Man... that sucks!! I quess I was lucky. I wonder if that anesthesiologist knew what he/she was doing? Nothing more fun than getting a huge needle stuck in your back 3 times in one birth... Thats just not right!

OK, so do Brandine and Cletus realize their kid's initials are PMS Federline?

I'm sure there are no pictures now so they can hold out for the highest bidder, like they did for the wedding. Can't wait to see little PMS with his doo-rag and ballcap.

I'm a little surprised about the C-section----A scar on the moneymaker, er, belly.

Yea, the needle is the worst part..just knowing if you make one false move you could be in serious trouble. It's worth the risk though! It's wild how you go from excruciating pain to feeling no pain in a matter of moments. Best thing ever.

That's too funny :rotfl:

Isn't it harder to regain the perfect belly if you've had a c section?? Doesn't the cutting of the abs make the muscles weaker in the long run?? Just asking never had one myself.... not that you would know by my belly

I don't know but if I were to have a baby, I know the way I'd go. I'd rather get cut. But then again, I'm no woman so I have absolutely no clue what I'm talking about.

But, I LOVE that you try and empathize LL!!!! I never had a labor pain...just two C-Sections and I can tell you it is major abdominal surgery! God probably knew what he was doing there....I might have tried to strangle my poor husband if I'd been able to deliver through the baby freeway!

Talk about sibling rivalry....KFed has those two babies with the baby momma and this one with Brit....and who wins that battle???? CCK, I have your next client here for you in about 10 or so years!!

Both my kids were C's (First one was an emergency, so second one had to be) it was very painful after. You can pick up and hold the baby, but like with any surgery - there is a limit. I was told not to lift over 10 lbs for at least a month. Recovery time was much longer, the need for pain medication (other than the normal ) couldn't drive for over two weeks, limit on stairs and it just zaps your energy -- when you need it most.

As far as getting back in shape, yes, much harder...but if she's choosing a C, then she would not be opposed to a little lipo either.

My favorite epidural story is about a woman who walked in the hospital in labor with a big cake in hand and told the people at the reception desk that the first person who gets her the anesthesiolist gets the cake. I had two babies, two epidurals and enjoyed both births very, very much! (the first epidural worked better than the second one, but all-in-all they were great)
