There is a new show on MSNBC weeknights following Rachel Maddow. It's called Last Word with Lawrence
O'Domnell.

Initially I saw it as being a little pathetic that one of Lawrence's guests tonite was Levi Johnston- Sarah Palin's daughter's baby daddy. But after watching what Lawrence did tonite I was blown away- he won me over.

Tonite he welcomed Levi to the show and then proceeded- without telling him what he was doing- to ask him the same questions- verbatim- that Katie Couric asked Sarah Palin in her infamous flubbed first national interview.

Incredible! The record now has a made- thanks to Lawrence O'Donnell's new show- a made for HD TV split screen comparison of how Right Wing/Tea Party hero Sarah Palin fared answering questions about American Politics to a 20 year old douchebag. SPOILER ALERT: A reasonable argument can be made that Levi did better than Palin!

Unbelievable political TV! What a brilliant segment!!!

I will post the video as soon as I can find it unless
someone else beats me to it.

Right here!
Sounds like a really educational show. I'm sure it will help everyone make better decisions at the polls.

I only wish you were right-
the part about helping folks make better decisions at the polls. But realistically, showing that the 20 year old ditz handled the pressure and the questions better than Palin probably won't change the flavor of the tea or the wrongs of the right.

Lawrence O'Donnell is a bright guy who has a good background/grounding in how government works. I have not seen his show yet, but I bet he will bring out a lot of "back story" info...in a subtle way...it will be fun to watch; unfortunately, it probably won't make much difference -- the people who could benefit won't watch, or if they watch, they will dismiss it as more liberal media fiction.

I like Lawrence, he had some excellent input @MSNBC during the whole Healthcare debate. He just looks like somebody though you would not want to be on the bad side of--he has that "don't ---- with me" look about him.

Yeah, and from his years on the Senate staff, he knows where all the skeletons are buried. I like his "street smarts" -- he has the ability to "put the knife in" when one least expects it, and does it in such a charming way.

As predicted, last night Lawrence did the split screen segment comparing Levi's answers to Palin's. Also as predicted he shared the opinion that Levi did better.

This morning on Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough had Lawrence on and called the use of the Couric questions on Levi "Genius".

Yesterday Lawrence's Levi interview was the lead story on The View.

Then kudos for former Governor Palin. While under her watch, it appears the educational system in Alaska produced young men and women who were smarter and more internationally astute than their parent's generation. [/spin off] :D

I'm still amazed how some people are so venomous toward Palin. They just can't control themselves.
