Red VW back in Texas- had a great trip!

We were in Blue Mountain Beach from 9/11-9/18, in the BM Villas- we love it there, right on the beach. Great location, wonderful set up and the kitchen is perfect. DH and I rented bikes from Big Daddy's for 4 days. My knees and thighs are just now speaking to me!

Looked everywhere at faces and wondered "could that be..." one of the sowal.com folks.? Also looked out for Gidget's house but didn't see it. Even thought of Bobby J when I saw surfers one morning.

Best meal of the trip: Stinky's. The crab bisque was wonderful and I loved the crabcake. Dinner on Sunday at Red Bar included my first Dred Clampett experience- they live up to their advance billing. What a terrific group! Dinner was yummy- and huge.
Best find of the trip: pizza from the Pickle Factory in Grayton Beach (thanks, Geo).

Just had a really great, relaxing, staring at the sky and water kind of trip. Came back a big, fat and happy pig. Now working to diminish big and fat, expand happy

I'm so glad you had a fun trip-I get a smile and sense of peace just reading your report. DC puts on such a great show, I love it when they get a little Southern Funk and do Up on Cripple Creek! Gimme shout when ya'll head to Ft Worth!!

AND I finally remembered to pick up SOWAL stickers to put on the cars. Keep an eye out around Southlake this week and next- I'll be out and about tomorrow and next Tuesday/Wednesday.
