I find it ironic that a Republican Senator kills the cap increase bill thus keeping the cap at 75mil. which will have a significant impact on the lives of many in the Red States of LA, MS, AL and FL.

But I'm sure that BP will do the "honorable" thing and pay out the billions in damages to those citizens.....

Thanks to Democratic Senator Nelson for trying to take care of our state and our neighbors.....

If criminal charges are filed the cap doesn't come into play.

I'm more concerned about our gov't not getting more directly involved to solve the problem instead of pointing fingers.
