i'm also fond of stocking up on basics at publix for meals in or picknics then getting treats or a special meal at the wonderful local restaurants-great for spreading $ further while still enjoying your time and spending money locally. we do love seacrest sundries for burgers and split a big bottle of st pelligrino or beer etc-very relaxing and easy on the wallet. la crema great but easy to spend a little to very lot (start with a little and you want to stay for more it's so good) so go with that in mind.love choc croissants from wild olives or fonville press in AM after bike ride (oh yeah i deserve a criossant after that hard bike ride lol). have a great yummy time.

Thanks, this is what we like to do when on 30A. Splurge on some pricey restaurants maybe twice while we are there. We have wanted to try Georges for yrs but havent got down that far, but this yr we are staying in seacrest so we will eat on that end most of the time.

You'll LOVE staying on the east end of 30A! The restaurants mentioned above are all great and deserve a try and along with Edwards, coming in March, Bentley's in The Village opens this week.

Michigan but someday in SoWal as well
Paradiso (I think that's the name) in Rosemary Beach has 2 for 1 dinner specials if you go between 5-6 I think. Cafe 30 in Seagrove has early dinner specials too. Check to see if Georges at Alys Beach is open in the winter (we love Georges). If Calyza at Alys Beach still has their happy hour and is open in the winter, they have a great fried seafood appetizer that we eat as a meal, especially with a salad. We enjoy Shades at the corner of 98 and 30A very much for oyster po boys and they have great burgers. We really want to try Seacrest Sundries and La Cocina as well but just haven't had a chance to do so yet.
