Governor Scott has joined the growing list of celebrities who own property in Sowal!
He just closed on a $4.1 million property in Rosemary Beach that he intends to use as a vacation home and alternate Governor's Mansion.
When asked why he chose the area, Scott cited the proximity of the new airport, the laid back attitude that would allow his family to vacation in peace, and the lack of media presence.
Scott hopes that his home purchase will allow him to focus on more development of the area. He has been talking to St. Joe about innovative ways to bring more industry and jobs to the area.
Said Scott "The Florida Panhandle has so many great natural resources - we have to find a way to use them to our best advantage."
