Right now the rain seems to have drowned them. (I live 5 minutes from Indian Pass.)
But maybe they'll come back worse than ever.
It's always been fine at the beach though.

I keep looking at land there. It sure is peaceful and beautiful. The bugs chase me away every time. They were bad at Cape San Blas as well. Have I visited at bad times or are they a problem most of the time?

Good question, Pirate. I don't have an answer.
I remember Seagrover also said something about mosquitoes at the Cape, and I felt terrible, especially because we never seemed to suffer from them when we were on the Cape, or now, when we are right next to it. (We'll be moving soon to St Joe Beach, but right now we are basically between Indian Pass and the Cape.) At the moment, the skeeters are gone but I think they'll come back. If we did not have a screened porch, I think we'd be in trouble. But we never have *any* problems when we're at the beach.
