30-a is exploding with turf wars.Santuary by the sea just hired a security guard to direct traffic at the end of its board walk as several neighborhoods use it.They've called the police on several people.I can see huge legal fights on the horizon
Interesting. However, what I'm complaining about should be able to be resolved by county government just by letting Rosemary Beach association know that they can't claim the beach in front of a public walkover. Whoever has moved the sign should be set straight - they don't have the right to reserve the area in front of it for their residents only.
I remember when I first bought property in Inlet Beach in 1999. It was paradise. Now, it's being spoiled by greedy people. Maybe it's time to just give up on 30A. Tired of all the hassle.
1999 was a long time ago. Did you just figure out change was coming? Is it "greedy people" or just people who want a piece of what you have? Has Rosemary Beach ruined Inlet Beach?
The way I see it you have a few options:
1. post here and hope someone else does your work.
2. pick up the phone or go visit Rosemary Beach POA office.
3. call your county commissioner.
4. move.
I rather doubt it's a "mistake." It's likely a ploy by the chair vendors to reserve space on the public beach for the houses that are newly added near there. We are taking a photo, which I'll post when I get back.
I did notice that county law says: "No vending on public beaches shall occur without written annual authorization from the county and any private property
owner whose southern property line is contiguous to the proposed vending location."

Curious to know if the county gave their permission for this.

You can see that the sign is clearly east of the walkover, just at the point the green & white umbrellas stop.
Proud TAXPAYER and PROPERTY OWNER in Inlet Beach since 1999. If you can "guarantee" that the beach chair guys didn't put it there, show me the money.

No need to be snippy. Since you don't know me at all, I guess you made a lot of assumptions about me that just aren't true. So, this will be the end of my posting on this thread.
