today my neighbor and good friend of 27 years passed away. Dear Ms Arleathia was 97 years young.She didn't come to the door when her ride came to take her to church. They found her in her bed. Dang,she just got glasses a couple of years ago and was looking forward to each new day.
As both of us live alone, I sometimes ask her what she did when she got lonly,her response,Well I just spit my teeth out and sing!!!!
She has been holding down the corner of my road for 77 years!!Never even drove a car.Can you picture all she saw change in her life?From horse and buggy to the space age?
Just yesterday around 5:00 pm I saw her, she was at her door and waved big as I passed by, I wish I had gotton that last hug from her, instead I waved and yelled back hello, and was off to watch the game with a friend.

I can tell you thought so much of her. It sounds like she had a wonderful life.
