Just what we need...more legislation on stupid things. But just think of the ammunition the person is going to have for one of those "Stupid Laws" book in a hundred years.

Each city should have its own Fashion Police Department. There! Problem solved.

I alway felt that there should be a law passed that addresses the issue of a weight limit for spandex.

NAACP opposes baggy pants bill

NAACP State President Adora obi Nweze is coming to Tallahassee on Friday to publicly oppose the baggy-pants bill, which passed the Senate last week. The bill, which bans students from wearing baggy pants in schools on penalty of suspension, was sponsored by Sen. Gary Siplin and Sen. Larcenia Bullard.
The NAACP has decided to take their opposition public, after a meeting of their executive committee last week, a spokesman said.

I just finished raising 4 kids and I believe the easiest way to fix what the kids wear is to stop noticing it and making a big deal out of it. Every generation will wear their hair and clothing different so that they create their own identity by not looking like their parents. If it gets under the skin of the older generation, all the more reason to continue doing it. It is called rebellion and it is the coffee of the younger generation.
Or better yet, perhaps a bunch of us middle age types should all take up this style as our own. Imagine all the refrigerator repairman wearing their pants even lower yet.

Yep they said the same thing about us skateboarding mohawk wearing kids back in the day. Now Tony Hawk is the most recognized athlete in the world. This isn't a new trend either, it's regurgitated fashion. Madness even wrote a song about it. Baggy trousers!!!!!

The trend is now swinging the other way. Many of your skinny young males are embracing the idea of wearing "girl pants," as they are tight and make their legs look longer.

Either that, or my son and his close buddies are transvestites.
