Yes, I know that Sand Bar Seafood is not in South Walton but it is close. Hwy 79 and very close to Front Beach Road.

They have the best boiled crawfish and for a reasonable price. Two pounds of crawfish (I think it's over two pounds) and no filler...that is extra. The crawfish cost $12.99. That's basically $6.50 a pound cooked. They are perfectly seasoned. They have them starting every Thursday and serve them until they run out. Sometimes they have them until Sat/Sun and other times they run out by Saturday. I had mine last night and they were delicious.

Another great bargin there is the fried or boiled shrimp. You can order them by the pound versus a meal so you get exactly what you want. Regular size (26 to a pound) are $10.99 a pound for boiled and $12.99 for fried. We usually get a pound of fried shrimp and an order of hush puppies.

A dozen oysters will set you back $7.99! I had a couple last week and they were perfect.

Neither of us has had the grouper sandwich but our neighbor just loves it.

We did have the gumbo once and it was not top on my list, but I am from Louisiana and it takes a lot for gumbo to make it to the top. When I think about it I have not had any gumbo from Ft Walton to Panama City that I have liked. 98 BBQ has been the best, but not on my tops list either. Gumbo should be another thread.
