Presented by The Village of Baytowne Wharf and the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, it’s easy to see why the Sandestin Gumbo Festival is consistently designated the Gulf Coast’s favorite winter food event. Now in its 37th year, this action-packed two-day event includes a kick-off party on Friday, Feb 20th and the Main Event on Saturday, Feb 21stth.

Included in your ticket purchase, the Main Event features the greatest gumbo cook-off on the Gulf Coast with unlimited samplings of gumbo and bloody marys. Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe will keep you dancing with authentic Zydeco music throughout the day. In addition to the gumbo cook-off, area bars and restaurants will also compete in the Best Bloody Mary at the Beach competition with guests casting votes for their favorites.

THIS EVENT IS RAIN OR SHINE! The Village of Baytowne Wharf is always open to the public. Even during special events, guests are welcome to visit shops and merchants.
