My coffee of the day this Saturday is, The New Orleans blend of Community Coffee. It is a good Chicory blend in honor of Cajun Fest.
8oz coffee and a powder sugar donut is $1.50.
A 12oz Bud Lite is $1.00.
Mr. Modica was in today and made some of his hand printed signs for the festivities. They are really cool!
Ms. Lisa is Making Muffalettas, Red Beans and Rice, Jambalaya and a Sea Food Gumbo.

Thanks all! It was a good day.
I was there before 7:00 and left after 5:00 and it was a good, busy, time!
Lisa's Banana Pudding wasn't as big as some have been but it was near gone in just a little wile, there might be 1 or 2 containers left. The Bread Pudding was huge so there will be some left for tomorrow. It was the best one yet and I didn't even taste it after she put the Bourbon sauce on it.:roll:
The food was good, the crowd was better and I am glad I was a part of it. Those of our Staff who got to hear the School's band were impressed with both teacher and students. I hate I missed that part.
It's beginning to look a lot like Spring!
Did I mention the best Gumbo and Hush Puppy ever!
I have that on the best of authorities!

Oh my cod- that bread pudding was incredible. The piece was so big that 3 of us couldn't finish it- and the sauce had a great kick!;-)

I nibbled on that thing all morning! Lisa would bring little sample plates out and I couldn't resist. I eat mine sauceless but it was still yummy! She loves to keep us fed. It was good having you and your mom in, she makes me smile!
