Of course, if you are only counting the first page, your deductions are not accurate, because these are all still active threads. Aren't I helpful?

The real question here, though it has been painted in such a wonderful way by our initial posters Bob, is: Whose posts are most often ignored, resulting in no other posting going on below it?
You may be from the sticks as you say, but you certainly didn't just fall off of the pumpkin wagon. We must remember that sometimes, a more popular topic replaces a less popular one, e.g. - the shark thread knocked down most other threads. Therefore, the last poster is not necessarily boring.

Now, looking back to the "retired" threads of page 2, I count RiverOtter and Landlocked tied with 3 each. Certainly, you are not making any suggestions about these guys, are you?

SJ--In the sticks of Kansas we would say falling off the "Turnip Truck" instead of the Pumpkin Wagon. :clap_1: I will say though that I do feel weird when I reply and the thread stops after my reply. It brings back memories of being the last one picked for the sports teams at school. I guess I am ready for the couch....It all began 30 years ago.....

Just keep replying and someone will eventually chime in, then stop posting.
...Turnip truck :rotfl: You are funny. I don't know what kind of produce they grow in TX. Maybe I should have referred to falling off the oil well.

I didn't know we were being "graded" on our posts! Memories of high school and the cool crowd. Unfortunately, I moved around so much (including a long time in Texas), I was never apart of the 'in" crowd. :sosad: But I'm still posting!!:laughing1

I've disabled the "user reputation" feature of the board where people rate your posts and stuff. I though that might be a little user unfriendly.

Now now Smiling Joe, do not misunderstand what I am implying. If a poster posts, and no one posts in response to that poster, it would be safe to assume that the post was disregarded. Sure, someone may have nodded or chuckled, but there was no responsive action taken. That would make the poster more prone to feel ignored. Boring never entered my mind - shame on you for thinking it.

However, in the case of RiverOtter and Landlocked, I sense a simple case of Get-The-Last-Word-In. Must be a guy thing. :laughing1

Brilliant idea SJ, lol! I know what you mean, KansasBorn... It's such an odd feeling to be the last on the thread. It feels like maybe you said something that offended everyone who read it, but they are all too polite to say anything so they just hate you in secret and you never know for sure...

Oil wells, ouch... we use the turnip truck analogy here. :D Pumpkins are appealing too though.
