Supernatural type movies don't scare me too much because I have absolutely no belief in the supernatural. All I'm left with are the gore movies which aren't really scary but downright disturbing sometimes (sigh!). I'll have to look back to when I was more impressionable. I actually thought Rosemary's Baby was kind of scary. The Exorcist didn't really phase me, but I have to admit it's freaky to see a little girl speaking in a raspy demon voice.
For some reason scary computer games used to really do the trick. Something about the immersion makes things more believable. About ten years ago my mom bought me Phantasmagoria for my birthday. It's a creepy

, shocking :shock:, bloody

, haunted mansion demonic possession type of adventure game. To maximize the fright I would play it in the dark in the wee hours of the night and then go right to bed afterwards.


That's just how I operate!

Oddly I almost never have nightmares! Good times!
