With all the negative campaign ads on both sides, it is not surprising the issues were little discussed. Alex Sink fired an aide over trying to coach her on an issue which was against the debate rules. It is going to be interesting to see how this state is run in the future regardless of who wins. That was not a very good debate. A lot of sniping and cheap shots and very little actual discussion of how we get Florida on the right fiscal track. Neither candidate came across as professional or capable. Pretty sad.
It's really not big news. They could have been looking at her schedule, or an email concerning something else. Even if was notes, she couldn't have learned too much from that quick look.
It isn't enough to pull my vote one way or another. I don't like either of these candidates based on their former jobs -- Nations Bank president for Florida or Insurance giant CEO.
We really don't know what either one would be like, do we? One or the other might be like Chris Cristy who has, and rightly so, shaken N.J. to its core.Yeah, I agree. Neither of them are coming across as what I'd like to see as Governor. I was fairly neutral about Christ, but he sure was better than these two.
