In this episode of 'Another Walk with Mike' you'll witness a rare find. As you may know, my camera was inoperable during the summer and many shark and octupus encounters, along with other aquatic wildlife sigtings, were lost forever.

But, an amazing Sea Turtle Skull was found in the beautifully clear Gulf waters and is presented here in this edition of 'Another Walk with Mike'.

I think you will enjoy it!

One sat on the bar in the grayton beach store(the red bar) for years. It had tennis ball eyes shoved in the eye sockets.

Wow, good story. Finding it was defiantely a welcomed surprise. I found two pair of sun glasses that day and the skull. The fish inside were amazingly beautiful and so agile. The only way I got them out, I'm sorry to say, was to elevate the skull above the water. Then when I put the skull back under water, they'd enter the sockets once again.

I had to hold it above water for a while before they finally decided to search for another place to reside. I felt bad, but man, I couldn't leave th skull in the water.

A week or so ago I found about 20 golf balls, which is always nice. I can replenish my bag ;)

Btw, I went for a short walk yesterday and saw two cottonmouth and two pygmy rattlers. I guess the rain brought them out of their haunts.

I just can't wait for the water to settle after the recent storm. It has been my obsession. My brother commented to me that he thought the snorkeling would get old after a few days. But I go EVERY DAY the weather permits and I can tell you, it doesn't get old for me.

It's a great workout and I discover so many wondeful things.

Good to have you back, Mike! That turtle skull is awesome! What a wonderful find. You deserve it!

So sweet. Thanks. I have so sorely missed sharing my experiences with others. Even though I was unable to video the actual find, I enjoyed making the video.

I sure wish I'd have been able to swim with the Whale Shark and a little birdie told me you had the pleasure ;) Didn't hear my phone ring lol

Thanks so much for welcoming my videos back. Can't wait for the water to clear.

Great video!! That is an amazing find......maybe put some sunglasses on it!!! That shark is spooky and I have been secretly envious of not being able to swim with the whale shark! I want to swim with the whales, too......maybe in March!

I am so disappointed I couldn't get at least the brief shark video, which I have saved as a mov file, onto this little episode. The shark is so graceful in its movements it would have been enjoyable viewing for those interested in this area and Nature in general.

I thought of you when I found it. I had told you I'd find a nice skull for you. But, uh, that was intended for ones found in the woods.

You know, on the barrier island I found that neat porpoise skull I could have kept. Oh, I had a nice deer jump from the trail yesterday along with the snakes I saw.

Idea: You show me your skulls and I'll show you mine  lol But seriously, I'd like to see some of the ones you have. I've got some interesting things you'd probably appreciate.

But regardless, I am so happy you were able to view the video. It came out in an inetresting way. I liked lighting it up like that. But I could have included some other angles that are equally fascinating. But hey, perfection is the enemy of progress. That's why I incorrectly spelled treasure-tresure on the video. I'm too busy concentrating on other things. And my brilliance only goes so far ;-)

Thanks to all. Wub ya.
