Wow, I hadn't thought to identify it further than just plain ol' Sea Turtle. Great job! I didn't clean the algea off the sides because I thought of bringing it back in the Gulf to photograph it there once I got my camera back, then I had the camera problems pursist.

I may clean it up more. And I won't do this, not by any means. But I'll bet a great paint job could be done on it. I wish I could make a copy of the skull with some sort of material and then paint that version. I'd never deface it like that.

Yesterday I had another deer leap from near the trail and captured a crab attacking a snake on film. But I'm not overly impressed with my new camera. Hopefully I'll improve its use.

I may include this new footage in another video, but it is not up to standard. The two cottonmouth and two pygmy rattler I shot the other day did not come out crisply and the snake and crab incident was simply drab.

I haven't been trail walking because my summer love of the Gulf was just too much, but even just brief walks the past few days have yielded great results. The rain is having a affect on the snakes.

The snake I saw in the dunes had a Ghost crab, I think its called, come out of its hole, walk over and get on top of the snake and then it began snapping the snake with its claws. The snake moved along abruptly after the incident. Like I said, I have it on film, but I am not happy with the clarity or outcome.
