I just got off the phone with Beach Rentals of So Wal. I was asking about the beach access recommended for Beachwood Villas. She told me to use Dune Allen...they have walk on access. Dune Allen!!! I mean I don't mind walking or driving a little but Dune Allen? Jeeesh. What would I do without this board. I don't think we would have made the trip if I would have thought the only beach access I could use was Dune Allen.

We'll either be driving to Grayton or Eastern Lake area unless someone here know of something closer.

I just spoke to the HOA office for Beachwood. They advise Beachwood is using the Beachside condo access. She said it's across the street and just to the right of Beachwood. The rain held up the construction of Beachwood's walkover. Maybe by next week.

Hope this helps!

Beachside is very close. It's pretty much across the street from Bruno's pizza. That's where we're staying next week (Beachside, not Bruno's, but you never know) so I'm sure we'll see you out there. :D

We'll be the typical family of four...look for the big "white guy" on the beach under a turquoise and white umbrella, that would be hubby .....me and the kiddos are tan so we won't stand out. LOLOL

Anyone else...if you see a gold Chrysler Town and County mini-van driving though with Ohio plates..stop and wave!

We'll be the atypical family of seven.. with a white-haired 1 year old, my 60-year-old mother, and my 6 foot 6 nephew.. I'm sure you'll see us out there. :)

Checked on Seagrove Dunes yesterday. The re-building is going quickly...it's already usable and will likely be completed by Saturday.

Photos from the same spot at Seagrove May 2002 versus August 2005.

BTW does anyone know if they're going to shove the scraped sand up against the "cliff" (former top of the dunes)? The water that gets trapped in-between is really yucky, but if this helps rebuild the dunes, I can deal with yucky.
