Thank you James. So if staying in seaside with no car and wanting to get to grayton state park, the shuttle isn’t really an option? P.S. I’m very familiar with the area. We come every summer. I’m just trying to avoid renting a car this year. It’s a little too long of a trek for us to ride bikes from seaside to the state park. I’m guessing the shuttle isn’t really an option either?
If you're just wanting to ride in the park area you can have a bike rental company drop off and pick up bikes at the park or nearby.

We have bikes. I’m wanting to get back and forth from seaside to grayton state park beach. I was considering the shuttle. Trying to figure out if that would work for us. Do you happen to know if Uber runs back-and-forth over there? And thank you for your information

You might want to consider a power assisted bicycle, you can rent those too.

The park is going to be packed from what I'm hearing. They have to turn away people by fairly early morning but it may vary by the day. Check out the Seaside website for any update on parking and shuttle. Or check with your rental company about any options. People do rent electric bikes or street legal golf carts but that just depends on where you are staying and what your needs are. You may want to rent a car. Or use Uber?

You might spend the day on Grayton Beach Public access. Lifeguards. But no facilities besides nearby restaurants.

GRAYTON BEACH TRAMS
Grayton Beach Tram Map

The Walton County Tourism Department is offering daily tram service for residents and visitors who are coming to Grayton Beach. This complimentary service will operate out of the “Grayton Central” parking lot on C.R. 283 (across the street from Hurricane Oyster Bar).
Trams will transport guests from the parking lot to a central drop-off point near the west beach access, where people can easily access the beach, the Red Bar, Chiringo’s or any of the other local shops and businesses. The trams run daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. or as needed.
Given the popularity of Grayton Beach, this daily tram service provides a convenient pick-up and drop-off option for thousands of beachgoers each year. Whether you are catching an early morning fishing charter, looking to lounge on the beach, or enjoy dinner with friends and family, the Walton County Tourism Department and its team of tram drivers look forward to serving you.
For more information about the program, call (850) 267-1216.

We have been staying at Seaside for years. One of our favorite bike rides is to Grayton and the park entrance is before Grayton, if you wanted to try that one day. Ellen

It should be noted that this is a Seaside employee shuttle that allows customers/public to ride only if there's space remaining. We got in line around 8:10pm on a Thursday night and watched 3 shuttles pass through picking up only Seaside employees because they had priority. Ended up waiting an hour. I gave up and ran the 2.5 miles back to the car to pick up my family in the car. Not a great experience when it's closing time in Seaside, plan accordingly.

We used it twice this past week. Once around 10:00 am to have breakfast at Bud & Alleys; another time around 3:00 pm. No issues. We usually stay in Seaside but this time tried Gulf Place so this worked out well for us. Ellen
