I've always wondered how roaming poultry could be that close to a restaurant like Bacchanalia. :dunno:

OMG - two things: she was indeed beautiful; and, I thought, 'if anyone recognizes this place, it will be BeachRunner!' :rotfl::rotfl: SWGB, too.

Her feathers underneath were a gorgeous iridescent green and unfortunately I missed that shot.

Beautiful chicken- I love chickens. I took my first daughter to a farm to see the animals and the cow and the chicken we went to see had become dinner. My daughter was disappointed so she prayed for a chicken. I lived in the no chicken city. I was looking out the window one day into the fenced backyard and watched a black chicken fly into the yard. I thought to myself, "That's a black chicken-A BLACK CHICKEN-what the ?" Then I remembered my child had prayed for a chicken so I called her and let her go outside to play with it. Her and the chicken acted like they had grown up together. She would chase the chicken and when she would walk away the chicken would run after her. When my daughter got tired she came inside and the chicken flew away shortly afterward.

Urban chicken farming is getting popular, but the Skunkapes were trendsetters and doing this in NOLA a couple of years ago.

Shouldn't that chicken have been in a "sub compact" space?

"Reserved for Robin" is the parking space.

No urban farming here, just a family of chickens, hens, roosters or whatever that have evidently been at Forsyth Fabrics forever.

However, I had a neighbor that had a rooster and we finally had to something. Rooster got awake well before dawn and this is just unacceptable around here~~~~~:D He was very vocal.

Urban chicken farming sucks. Case in point, Key West, some people think they are cute, but let me tell you how annoying they are at 7am after a night of margarita's.
