DD - I appreciate waiting patiently for Spring. Right after Christmas and New Year's, which are my favs, too, I really start rushin' the season. Force bulbs in every room in the house - I'm so silly about that!! Happy Spring, Sweet DD!! MWAH!!

I do the bulbs beginning Thanksgiving and through spring! love them - better than fresh flowers, imo. like a garden in the house.

Awww...thanks, Toots!! I am overjoyed that spring is here. Lots of funn stuff happens in spring. Summer....no sweat. Love it too!!

I love summer til the 4th. then over it. over the heat. over the crowds. over the sand all in my house. over the hauling stuff to the beach and back. then the real heat sets in come August. give me the fall and early winter - my most favorite seasons of all. as you know!

I'm so tempted to start them around Thanksgiving.....amaryllis and narcissus???? What else do you do?

But, my ritual is that I set them mid Christmas Season so they blossom in Jan and that fragrance fills the house.......funny how we have our systems for Spring!!!

narcissus all through the holidays (several pots at various times so I can enjoy them for months), with an amaryllis thrown in. then daffodils in the spring. sometimes tulips.
