 Wondering how many sinus sufferers out there have the problem with the teeth hurting! Mine have been hurting bad the past couple of weeks on and off. Unfortunately, more on than off! When I go to bed at 9:00 on a Friday night and sleep until around 7:30 Saturday morning, then I know there is something wrong. I never go to bed that early, especially on Friday night. The teeth on the top are the ones where the real problem is but it all radiates down to the lower also. Tired of having to take so many ibuprofen. Can't seem to shake the headache with this either. What methods of relief do any of you use to get rid of your sinus aches and pains, other than going to the doctor, which may be next!

Saline nasal spray.
I can't take the medicated stuff, but the saline
does wonders.
BTW, are you sure it's sinus, and not TMJ?
TMJ symptoms include headaches, sore teeth, and
"stuffy" ears when you wake up..

I do have tmj and have a mouthpiece for that made by my dentist for that purpose. But I am always stuffy in my sinuses and my doctor told me I have sinus problems and allergic rhinitis. I have had a fever the past couple of days around 99, which is low grade, but fever nonetheless. I would attribute all of it to that if not for the fever. I do use sensodyne toothpaste when needed, like this week. I keep a tube around. Thought at first I might have some kind of problem with an abscess in a tooth but went for a work in at my dentist and they x-rayed my teeth and it showed no problem there. All I know is that this is miserable.

Lady, it sounds like a sinus infection that needs antibiotics, better go see the doc. Your allergies probably triggered it. Hope you feel better soon.

I agree with Ocean Lover...sound like a sinus infection.

That is usually a classic sign, pain in the teeth. You need to go see your doctor especially since it has been going on for so long. A severe sinus infection can be dangerous. It is always suggested that you drink plenty of fluids and take a couple of hot showers a day...that helps open you up. They make a some good additives for the shower now to help.

Take care...hope you are better soon!

Yes it does sound like a sinus infection and needs antibiotics; maybe a couple of rounds. Also, the saline spray and salt water irrigation done on a regular basis, works wonders!
Feel better.

Yes, you may need to help the antibiotic along a little. Drinking hot tea several times a day will help along with the other good suggestions. Sinus infections are one of the hardest to treat. It can take several days for the meds to reach the appropriate area so keeping the nasal passages open and clear are important.
