Tomorrow at 12 noon sharp. We'll be in SoWal just in time for the big wedding!

I should be packing instead of gabbing.

Remember to drive fast and aim for the ditches. Nevermind, I just remembered your husband will be driving. :D

Very funny wise guy. I don't need to "aim" for the ditches; they come after me.

I think SJ's spirit was in the restaurant tonight. First, there was a cute little boy with a foam frog hat on. Then, I was looking at all the candies (Neuhaus Cafe) and there they were....CHOCOLATE FROGS!

You should check out his photo gallery. Lots of good ones in there. ;-)

Bee-U-ti-mous sunset! We're heading down soon and I just-can't-wait....

I found free time on my hands today (whatever THAT means!) and I realized that instead of cooking all weekend to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner, I'll be watching the BAMA/LSU game, kickin' back and just enjoying the nice cool weather that's 'supposed' to be headed our way.

And why can I look forward to a leisurely weekend you ask?? Because of all you lovely, smart people who suggested places where I could order Thanksgiving dinner with a simple phone call. I ordered our dinner from Publix. I was just going to order the turkey and then cook, freeze, and tote the rest from home, but....they were so nice there that I said, "What the hey!" and got them to just prepare as much as they could. All I have to do is pick it up and heat it. ....My kids will most likely grumble about the dressing, but..they must grow up sometime, huh?? ....I'll just direct their gaze toward to gulf view.

I'm serious about how nice the Publix people were over the phone. I think it was Holly that I spoke with and she was an absolute pleasure to talk to -- told me all that was offered and didn't hurry me one bit. Add her helpfulness to all of yours on this board and all I can say is, "Thank You!" I can't wait to get there and see one of those sunsets in person....

Now (since I'm a BAMA girl by birth....AND my first two years of college, yet my 'paperwork' is from LSU) my biggest dilemma this weekend will be whether to yell RAMMER JAMMER or LSU!, LSU!....

Oh ellesu...I am so glad you are taking the Publix route! I have to tell you that after "living" in SoWal for 5 weeks, I can honestly say I may have run into one person having a bad day there! It was glorious to chat with so many great folks that are loving what they do (or maybe just loving where they are!). Have a great Thanksgiving!
