IX. PCA NOT DELEGATED FOR APPROVAL: PCA MUST BE SUBMITTED TO HQUSACE FOR ASA(CW) APPROVAL WHEN THERE ARE DEVIATIONS FROM THE MODEL PCA OR THE FOLLOWING APPLY:


a. If the PCA includes any deviation from the approved model, describe and provide the rationale.

b. If the PCA includes any deviation from the approved Project Report, describe them and the reasons why.

c. If there are issues/controversies that must be resolved to enable the PCA to be signed, describe how and when they will be resolved.

d. If the project is a Congressional add and the PCA covers more than the limit of Federal appropriations, describe why and how this can be recommended.

PCA= Project Cost Sharing Agreement
HQUSACE= US Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters in D.C.
ASA(CW)= Assistant Secretary of the Army Civil Works

Thanks :D No, but I have worked with the Corps on and off since 1998. They are the agency of acronyms and it's like learning a foreign language. On another note I have met 2 or 3 ASA(CW) over that time, including the current JP Woodley, Jr.

Oh, ok. I have been a contractor with the Corps since 1988. Yes, they love their acronyms. I think I have most of them figured out by now. ;-)

Since 88, wow that's longevity. District or Division? I have had the joy of working with ERDC/CHL, SAM, SAJ, SAW, SAD, NAD and IWR; and know some people in other District's. I had to do them in acronyms as it is more funn. I don't think I have worked with anyone in your area. I can tell you they all have distinct personalities :D.
