I'm 43, have been to every Journey concert since Steve Perry joined, then the new Steve, and now this new guy, who maybe temporary, since the drummer, I thought, sang better than him.

There's nothing wrong with the drummer singing. Phil Collins did it with Genesis; may be doing it again soon.

Also, same era, wasn't it Sheila E. that did the same thing?? That was soooo 20+ years ago....

45 here. Well, sadly I have never seen them in concert. I just love Steve Perry's voice and it doesn't seem like Journey to me without him.

Yes, it was Sheila E. I loved her!

Yes that brings back many memories. Mr. IWIWT likes slower music, not as fond of the newer stuff. Bread was really big in that lifetime.
