I would love to hear folks' predictions on what they think will happen. My only prediction is the series will end with a introspective "whimper" in true David Chase style.

absolutely no idea. I thought tony would be whacked, but then I think he may be allowed to live forever in misery after something terrible happens, like loss of carmella or one of his kids.
I will definitely be tuning in. this is the very last TV show left that I watch, and now its outta here. Sex in the City was my other show but that's been over for a while. Just as well. the kid is old enough to NOT be able to be in the room with any of these shows.

I actually had the same thought. At the end of the last episode when Tony is sitting on the bed at the safe house, for just a split second, I thought he was going to put the gun in his mouth.
And I have a feeling AJ will figure prominently into the final episode.
So many possibilities I can't venture a guess. Although I think Tony will survive in case Chase ever decides on a Soprano movie.
