Just checking in. That was funn last night! I love all the ornaments! I am in for sure next year! I am headed out for a full day of shopping!!! The kids get out of school Thursday so I have to finish up. The hubby is going with me so we'll see how much I get done! :roll: Have a funn day everyone!!!!

Merman and I were double lucky tonight because not only did we receive the most **perfect** ornaments from dbuck and Ocean Lover, we got a bonus.

Mango sent us these darling ornaments and now our house is filled with even more SoWal talent. Christmas definitely arrived with a big bang in the Midwest!

You're a hoot I haven't gotten anything for Sunshine yet. Got back from Mayo Sat night. Slept Sunday. Took my bumper to get repaired today (ripped it off on a curb a few weeks back). Have to drive to Miami to renew my passport Wednesday and plan on shopping tomorrow and Thurs. I'll get her something then but she's been away from me so much that she'll just be thrilled to go out with me. She's had it rough throughh all this. But she's a trooper

I LOVE MY ORNAMENT! Tootsie was my secret Santa and she made me the most beautiful and personal ornament of the Mutandi di Barga! It is so detailed and lovely (and the packaging was adorable, too). So THANKS, Tootsie. For those of you who don't know the history of the Mutandi di Barga, there's a painter in my family's hometown in Italy who paints the mutandi di Barga (the panties of Barga) because people hang their underwear outside the old medieval homes. So, knowing that I love those paintings and that little town, Tootsie made this special ornament. THANKS!

I gave Tootsie the little New England town. I have to admit that they are hand-made by my sister and her husband. I got into the ornament exchange a bit late and I just love to share their little villages with my friends. We have about 100 of these little houses in our house and we put them out every Christmas. They have the names of people and places we love on them. And now Tootsie's Mutandi di Barga ornament will join the village so we'll have a little piece of SoWal/Italy in our village as well!

Hope you're having a wonderful Christmas season and hope we cross paths in SoWal this year -- it has been waaaay too long. We won't be there over Christmas, but will be there the last week of February and then sometime over the summer. Definitely in August and I may try two weeks in a row this August.

I forgot to say that I missed the party because I was in Los Angeles for the Surivor Finale Friday - Monday night! It was fantastic, but we were on the plane during the SoWal ornament party. In fact, we ended up getting in at 3:30 am this morning because the plane had to stop in Phoenix for a medical emergency onboard (heart problem but the guy seemed OK -- he even walked off the plane).

I'll post photos and info about the funn at the survivor finale and after party later today. We got photos of the kids with many of the contestants and just had a great time overall.

Paula, I just love your ornament from Tootsie. :clap_1: and the houses to Tootsie your family made. Very special.

I looked for you on the finale night that I had to tape. Were you sitting behind your sister inlaw? Can't wait to see the pics.

Everyone wrapped their ornaments so nicely. I do not wrap very well, so poor IBD must have thought she got an ornament from a vagrant.
I am trying to wrap presents now, and not doing a very good job of it. :roll:
