Franny...don't forget to have canuck come over and get the &$#@*&%$^#@!%%%$% stumps out of my back yard...plus there is a bunch of old wood we can burn at the bonfire!
It looks like we might not be there for the soiree. We were told last week that Mom is terminal. This morning I got a call from the assisted-living facility saying that Mom was having trouble breathing. We are at the ER now. They plan to admit her.
Thanks. Mom is in the coronary progressive care unit (a step down from ICU). She has atrial fibrillation. The docs don't recommend Coumadin for someone in end-stage Alzheimer's. We didn't even know she had a heart problem.BR, prayers coming your way. We will lift a pudding shot in honor of you and your mother.
We thought it was all due to her stage 4 renal failure.Don't lift one for her -- she thinks alcohol is the devil's work.
UPDATE: They found a 2x4 cm. blood clot in Mom's right atrium this morning. It would take open-heart surgery to remove it because it is so large that heparin can't dissolve it. But the doctor said that due to Mom's advanced age and physical condition, she couldn't survive the surgery.
So when she throws that clot, she's gone.

*Beverage and a snack
*Blanket or jacket, it gets cooler after the sun goes down
*Flash light helps you get off the beach
In case you have never been before we gather on Grayton Beach at the access behind The Red Bar, just look for the bonfire and big loud crowd.
