This morning I went on a bike ride. My butt is so not used to it. I didn't last long but I plan to ride a little farther each day.

Foods today:

cereal
coffee
yogurt
Fuze drink
water

Lunch will be a protei meal bar and I plan on celery sticks for my snack.

Grilled chicken marinating now for dinner.:D

Tootsie..I'm changing it up a little adding the veggies etc..

I've actually lost 2.5 lbs since I weighed myself last saturday.

I am so sore today...mostly my gluteus maximussss. I think it's from the yoga workout on Monday.

So far today I've had coffee and cereal. I'm trying to cut down the coffee to one cup a day. It's a rather large cup.

Last night I ate a chocolate chip cookie and celery sticks at about 10 pm. I'm really not going to do that anymore. I wish I could lock the kitchen after about 7:00!

I've had low-fat yogurt and a slice of low-fat cheese today.

Not intentional. I fell last night leaving a rehearsal. Our strings group is doing a gig next week at a fundraiser for the symphony. No alcohol involved -- we rehearsed at church. My left wrist (unfortunately the one I need for fingering the violin) hurts like crazy; I spent all afternoon at the doctor because they had to work me in. Thankfully, it's not broken, but I have to wear a brace.

I've got 24 pieces to learn by next Thursday. I'll just have to take off the brace and deal with the pain when I practice.

Yeeouch BR. Did you get any good drugs to help you deal? Today my yoga was arm balance and wrist strenghthening. Who knew my wrists were so weak?

You need a good dinner gull!!!!

man, that sounds terrible BR. I hope you will listen to your pain. if you can't do it, don't.

dang OL, you are definitely turning the mother out. good for you!!! cut out coffee? now you are scaring me.

I have cut back this week overall, and that is about it. plus exercise: pilates, yoga and pilates.

OL - what about adding more hot green tea? I've heard this helps with weight loss. plus its really good for you. I'm going to try to get in this habit, although I am strictly a coffee lover.

OL - you are inspiring us! thanks!

Thanks Toots. I don't really like green tea. I can drink the bottled flavor stuff but prefer not to. My new favorite thing? FUZE Slenderize tangerine grapefruit and some other really good flavors. http://www.drinkfuze.com/

Today I had:

coffee
cereal
1/2 protein bar
protein water
reg water
1/2 mini mounds bar(had to have just a bite)
Romano crusted chicken salad from Bravo:love::eek: I knew I needed to eat light earlier and work out extra hard today b/c I wanted this salad for dinner. The parmesan peppercorn dressing alone is probably bad.

Last night I didn't eat anything after dinner...yay me. I did chew sugarless gum and that helped. Tonight I'll do the same. Dinner was at 7 tonight so it shouldn't be as hard.

Tomorrow night I'm going out to Bucca di Beppo with girlfriends. Is pasta like the worst thing ever when dieting? Maybe I'll stick with salad and chicken again. ??? The bread is so tempting there!!!!

We picked up a pile of boiled peanuts from the farmstand on the north side of the 331 bridge and ate them all the way home to Indiana, listening to bluegrass music on the radio.

Mermy, were those spiced boiled peanuts? I had those for the first time at the Watercolor Inn and I loved them and I was NOT a lover of boiled peanuts before.

I drink hot green tea every day (drinking a cup as I type) and I don't think it has done a stinking thing for my weight. Fortunately I like it.

OL - you are inspiring me. I know I'll be eating bad this weekend - wine tasting party tonight & communion party tomorrow but I need to start behaving next week!

I don't think they were cooked in anything but salted water, but that salt had the effect of making you feel you were eating junk snack food rather than something healthy and wholesome. :D
