I have not tried to teach him that one from fear that he may discover how to drink all of my beer when I am away. He likes to open the cooler and drink all of the water and eat all of the ice ... at least the ice that he doesn't sling all over the floor.

Mack does the same thing. He loves to bob for ice. Especially in the summer time. He doesn't like beer though. I've let him taste it and he'd rather have water.

It is me, my twin sister and daddy in Coco Beach, Florida many moons ago. We lived there for awhile when I was little. Very little as you can see. This is one of my favorite pictures!!!!!!

A reasonable concern ;-) I had a big shep long ago that learned how to puncture a can with his incisors and drink up. Had a few less than a 12 in a cooler (only partially closed), one can open by the cooler while I and college buddies were in a field throwing frisbie nearby. Must have got a taste of the open one and liked it. By the time we noticed (maybe 30 - 45 min later), the furbag had punctured all remaining cans, sucked up most of contents, and was - pretty darn sloshed from the look of things...
