Speaking of Lent

I am not Catholic bit I always give up something for Lent. This year it is bread and pasta. My family suffered much last year when I gave up iced tea so I am Hopi g this one will only effect me.
The kids have given up Ramen noodles, I fear they will starve!

I am going to give up something for Lent too, as well as doing something positive. Not saying what because I might jinx it.

I don't think I could give up ramen. We started making it with veggies thrown in and using half the seasoning packages so we don't get so much sodium.

giving up something for Lent is way better than a New Year's resolution since you aren't under pressure to make a "permanent" change.....that way, you don't have to feel you're a failure when the first month has passed and you've lost your resolve. I'm giving up New Year's resolutions for Lent.
