Sports Bar

Can anyone tell me of a nice Sports Bar close to Watercolor/Seaside? We are coming down for Labor Day weekend and need to watch the Crimson Tide on Saturday night! ROLL TIDE ROLL!

Ballyhoo at Blue Mountain Beach. It is probably not the closest, but cool place. Roll Tide!

Shades is a great place to watch sports, corner of 98 and east 30-A, close to Rosemary.

About 10 (?) miles east of Seaside is Shades. It's definitely a sports bar (think Taco Mac -- I think it's still the same owners). But the thing is, since it's vs Virginia Tech in Atlanta, that's a major game. I'd want to hear it. You won't be able to do that at Shades. If there are 2-4 in your party, I'd go to Borago no later than 6:30 PM CDT (kickoff is at 7, right?), get spots at the bar, and watch it there where you can hear it and dine.

This comes from a bigtime Gator fan who has done this many times at Borago.

Or if you don't need a crowd to cheer with, do takeout and watch it at your rental.

BTW my oldest nephew just left Newnan, GA, for his freshman year at Alabama. He is so excited. I have razzed him and filled his high school graduation money card with Gator chomps.

If no one has mentioned it yet, there is always "Shades"...lol. That would be your best bet. But for more affordable family fun, there is a Beef O'Brady's across from Pier Park, and a Buffalo Wild Wings in Pier Park, and on the other end of 30A there is/was another Beef O'Brady's in San Destin. You may have better luck of getting a crowd together at Shades though.
