...if no other coffee is around. Don't get me wrong. I buy my fair share, but Caribou Coffee, here in Atlanta, is sooooo much better. The problem is there just aren't many of them.

In Seattle, both SBC (Seattle's Best Coffee) and Tully's give it a run for it's money and taste. Down here, though, they are the 500 pound gorilla that nobody wants to wrestle.

I have yet to find a Starbucks here with fresh pastries, not stale, dry things. I bet that is because their baked goods are not baked anywhere close to here.

Thank god small business won in South Walton and we only have one Starbucks tucked away for the folks that enjoy bitter nasty coffee. I'll go to a local coffee shop (Amavida) any day over Starbucks.
