Thanks to everyone who picked up a round blue 30-A sticker and donated money to Alaqua when you did so - your generosity raised $14,000 for Alaqua Animal Refuge! 
That is enough to feed over 200 homeless dogs or cats for three months, spay or neuter about 300 animals, provide life-saving annual immunizations to 600 puppies and kittens, or feed 20 horses food and hay for six months.
Alaqua Animal Refuge has helped find homes for more than 6,000 animals to-date, with as many as 100 animals being adopted every month, and it's home to as many as 250 animals at any given time. It costs $40,000 per month to run the refuge, which is entirely dependent upon private donations.
