Up the hill from the Gateway Arch

By the way, what all is there to see in St. Louis besides the arch and Busch Stadium and the zoo? Have never even set foot in Missouri and would like to see St. Louis sometime. But not during tornado season.
lady, our zoo is located in Forest Park, which has lots of other things to see and places to go. About 2 years ago, a multimillion dollar renovation was completed on the park, and it is beautiful now. I think there are parts of it that rival some of the parks and gardens I've seen in Europe, honestly. Forest Park is larger than Central Park!

I am sorry for the people in West and Middle Tennessee also. Just saw video footage on the weather channel showing the twister on the ground in Gallatin, Tennessee. Bad looking twister. Thanks to everyone also for the suggested places to visit in St. Louis. Would love to see the zoo there. It has turned cold here also. Cloudy and windy and around 49 degrees compared to near 80 yesterday. Feels like winter again.

We have a lot of storm warnings..but I think this is the worst in a while. THe news spoke of '96 as being the last time of killer tornadoes in Nashville. I have gotten used to the warnings so I do not pay as much attention as I should. Yesterday made me realize that they are serious when there is a warning.

For the last 3 weeks we have had violent weather. I don't know why but I sure wish is would stop! I don't remember any springs with this kind of weather. Usually we have wide swings in temps but not violent storms over and over. :bang: :bang: :bang:

i'm with you - we usually have some bad weather in early spring, but not every single week - global warming perhaps ?
