Anyone see something strange in the sky last night around 8 p.m. ?

For the last week and a half I have seen lots of aerial goings-on over 98. The closest I ever came was about one week ago and there was a brilliant red pulsing light that seemed to be generally stationary just north of the 293 and 30-A intersection. I first noticed it as I was heading east on 30-A near Oyster Lake. I don't think it was a flare, but I could be wrong. At any rate, since I have seen so much over the last two weeks, I'm chalking it up to Today's Air Force. By the way, everything I have seen is about that time of night.

SO what did you see?

A few minutes after you first light up?:D

I bet the services have some dandy stationary "flares" these days. Small unmanned, probably expendable, vehicles to light the place up?

You can bet on one thing. The military has some things up their sleeve they don't want you to know about and they ain't gonna tell ya, either.

Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But the U.S. ARMED FORCES don't have that problem. Ronald Reagan

Actually in 1985 Reagan said, "Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem"

I have heard it said both ways. I prefer a little poetic license. I'll keep it the way I have it, thank you, right or wrong. Its true in any case.

There you go again, my friend.

The quote you attribute to Reagan is not his, it's yours.

I like holidays and I hope you have enjoyed Dr. King's holiday.

I certainly have.
