Did I see a former UGA player, Hinds Ward, win the MVP? I thought so. :D

By the way, I thought the Rolling Stones performance was an audio nightmare. I wonder if someone got fired, or if the band was that bad. The Beetles just got bumped up another notch on that other thread lost in cyberspace. I really like the Stones, but that was aweful. Mick looked a bit ticked off to me. I think he knew it.
My 15 and 17 year old daughters walked in the room, listened about a minute and left. They both love 60s music, but what a letdown!

Mick's vocals were fine, and that guy is in better physical shape than many people half his age. But the sound mixing was absolutely terrible--so muddy, they sounded like a garage band, which I don't think was at all intentional. And I thought the song choices were a bit questionable.
It cracks me up to see a band once considered so controversial and cutting edge playing half-time at the Superbowl. I'm old enough to remember when the half-time entertainment consisted of Up With People. ;-)

I sooo agree. Motown would have been great! It also seemed something was up with the sound when Aaron Neville sang the national anthem.

I'm sure all our Sowal Steeler fans are very happy this morning. I enjoyed watching the games and the commercials. I think my favorite was the magic fridge Bud Light commercial shown in the first quarter. What about you? What one was your fav?
No question, hands-down, mine was the Fed Ex cavemen commercial!

Got back from the beach sunset walk by 6:00 PM, able to see the worst half- time show ever.

Did they pay the crowd to jump up and down with Jagger. It reminded me so much of the pre-screened audiences for Bush.

It's fine if they want to tour and people pay to see old men on a stage, but not for me even at 58.

What it could be with current talent: How about James Blunt, Nora Jones so many others with raw fresh talent.
