Oh no, SJ, you don't understand how lovely it is for the cold weather to come and then to wait 6 months for the first 60 degree day, uhhh, 50 degree day.

That said, the snow can be breathtaking when it's falling in big flakes, fresh and new -- and that's something I'm definitely thankful for. Though when the kids are grown, we'll be so outta here and in SoWal for the winter...

From 12:00am till 3:00am the phone literally never stopped ringing. Many calls went right to voice mail. We didn't slow down until 5:00 am.
We had more then 30 reservations for returns after 12:00 am. that we had to honer.
Passenger safety in the rain was an issue.
We will try to figure a solution for next year. We had no history to use as a guide. We will have our one year anniversary in a few weeks.

That is great that you were that busy, because that kept many amateur drunks off the roads and out of the coffins. Maybe next year, you can rent some 15 passenger vans for the big night, and pack people in together like they do back in the town from whence I came.

We did not know about the reservations and will keep that in mind for the next big bash. Thanks Dave and I will let our guests know what happened.

They were right down the road. The girl that called, "forgot" to tell the rest of the party they were supposed to walk to the red bar to meet us!!!!!!!!!
