Just as CNN, MSNBC, ABC News are the arms of the Dems. There's no denying that all of them are slanted one way or another.

There are those will never accept Fox as a viable news outlet. There are those who can't get their head around the fact that the likes of Hannity and O'Reilly, and Beck are paid entertainers. It doesn't bother me. People get their news where they feel that it most fits their beliefs and opinions. Since I don't identify with either party I have no issues with any of them.

One has to ask, though...

If Fox News is the anit-Christ of the news world, why does it totally spank all the others on a weekly basis as far as viewership goes?

I'm guessing if we could see Fox News marketing budget vs. any other network....

One consideration though...they are all business out to make money plain and simple. If they are marketing themselves to the conservative demographic, who can really blame them?

That was a token moment for MSNBC.Their ratings clearly show Americans subscribe to other NEWS sources.

Marketing. I was taught that the news was not a commodity to be marketed to individuals, but a duty that was served to all. I'm not a fan of any corporate news and try to get my news from several sources, shake it out, and whatever facts that are consistent across the board that fall through are what I go by.

I read this article today that touches on how far-reaching Fox News appears to be in owning politicos. As Republican political analyst David Frum once put it: "Republicans originally thought that Fox worked for us, and now we are discovering we work for Fox.?

The article draws attention to the the fact that except for Mitt Romney, the major Republican presidential contenders who aren't holding an office presently are paid contributors to Fox News.

Fox has become rather "in your face" with their partisanship, imo.
