Surf, pier Fishing during week of May 14

We are going to be at Grayton Beach for a week starting may 14. Just wondering what the surf fishing and pier fishing should be like at that time. Types of fish biting etc.. When does the so called "june grass" start showing up. Oh, and where are the best spots ?

Well we don't have pier fishing in Walton County, you'd have to go to Ft. Walton Beach or Panama City Beach for that.
